Tyler James 30 from London. Sang what I consider to be quite a difficult song to sing but he seemed to do quite a good job. Tyler was a close personal friend to Amy Winehouse and her untimely death gave him the wake-up call he needed to get his singing career […]
Indie and Pixie 17 and 18 from Guildford. It was a nervous performance but they couldn’t really help that as all four Judges turned around. Inseparable duo chose Jessie which is no big surprise really. They will do well with Jessie.
Emmy J Mac 21 from Bath. Emmy performed ‘Put Your Records On’ and gave a very good performance. This very clever young lady who owns her own company which organises music events for children. This singer/songwriter has also written a series of children’s books with sing-a-long CD’s.
Ruth Brown 20 from London. Boy did she hang onto that last note or what! They say it’s very difficult to do because you can go off key, well that was perfect! Ruth is on Sir Tom’s Team and I reckon he is the best one for her.
John James Newman 33 from Yately. What a great song to sing, this one always makes me smile no matter how down you may feel. This I reckon was a truly spot on performance but then that’s not suprising really as his Father was a 60’s Rock Star. Plus John has […]
Lindsay Butler 41 from West Bromwich. Lindsay sang Rod Stewart’s hit, ‘I Don’t Wanna Talk About It’ and did an brilliant job. I reckon there’s a bit of country in her voice, sounding similar to Dolly Parton and Stevie Nicks all rolled into one.
Sophie Griffin 17 from County Tyrone. Admits to being a huge fan of one of the Judges, Danny O’Donoghue after queing for 8 hours to get front row seats to see The Script. it’s a shame he didn’t turn around this time, but thankfully will.i.am did.
Jenny Jones 25 from Dudley. Started singing at Church until her Dad introduced her to the pub gig circuit. Jenny sanf Duffy’s song Mercy and again another very good performance. will.i.am was the first to turn around followed by Danny but Jenny chose will.i.am as her mentor.
Jaz Ellington 27 from London. Where has this man been hiding? With a voice like that I reckon this man can win. He runs Gospel Workshops and started singing in the Church. will.i.am was the only Judge to turn around but in this man’s capable hands Jaz will do very well.
Becky Hill 18 from Kidderminster. This singer/songwriter chose to sing a song written by one of the Judges, will.i.am, a risky call some would say, but on the other hand it definitely made will.i.am and Jessie turn their chairs around. For someone so young Becky gave a very good performance but […]
Ruth-Ann St Luce 18 from London. For someone so young she can certainly hit the high notes. I think with a bit of coaching she will be brilliant but the song wasn’t an ideal one to start with. With only one Judge turning around, Jessie. Ruth-Ann is now with the best […]
Murray Hockridge 47 from Peterborough. Murray sang ‘You Give Me Something’ which was originally by James Morrison. I must confess I thought more Judges would have tuned around but within the last second Danny did, otherwise yet another talented singer would have been overlooked.
